Our dentists at Oral Implants & Reconstructive Dentistry are industry-leaders in modern dental techniques and technology. We are a generational dental practice. Doctors Heller and DiDonato have decades of combined experience in implant and reconstructive treatments and surgeries. To ensure we provide the best care every time, we invest in the best dental technology on the market.

How Has Dental Technology Changed?

Every year innovations are made in dental technologies and techniques. Technological improvements have allowed us to perform dental surgeries faster, more efficiently, and with more accuracy than ever before. The equipment we use helps us improve our success rate while also reducing the recovery time necessary for our patients.

For us, staying up-to-date is extremely important. Because we train other dentists, our team needs to be well-versed and up-to-date with current technological trends. By investing in the best of the best, we can offer the highest quality of care to every patient who walks through our doors.

What Do You Use for Surgeries?

We have several devices we use for surgeries. Each of these has a specific purpose and helps us perform procedures with a high level of precision. For root canal procedures and some tissue operations, we will use a dental laser. With laser technology, we can make incisions more accurately and with less tissue damage.

For implants and extractions, we may use PiezoSurgery. This technology uses ultrasonic waves to gently cut into the bone without causing unnecessary tissue damage. With this, we can reduce discomfort and healing time while operating on bone structure with increased accuracy.

Our dentists are also trained in the Pinhole Surgical Technique. We use this procedure to treat gum disease with minimal invasiveness and tissue damage. Depending on the level of infection, this treatment may take two or more visits to our office.

After your surgery, you may want to try our StellaLife Holistic Healing products to reduce pain and improve your recovery time.

What Imaging Devices Do You Use?

If a traditional X-ray is not sufficient, we may use our PreXion scanner to get a deeper look at your oral structure. This CBCT imaging technology takes a 3D image of your teeth, bone, nerves, and soft tissues so we can gain a better insight into your dental health.

What Do You Use for Cosmetic Dentistry?

At Oral Implants & Reconstructive Dentistry, we are proud to offer CEREC same-day crowns. With this technology, we can use a digital scanner to create a 3D image of your teeth. After designing a model of your new crown, we will input the information from the scan into our FormLab 3D Printer to create your crown in our office.

We also offer Provance ceramic veneers. These veneers are a cost-efficient, less-invasive alternative to traditional porcelain veneers.
